BELSTAFF | There are designers who create a mood with their collections, and there are those who create a bona fide wardrobe that, from top to toe, would look and feel right at home in any man’s closet. Such is the case with Belstaff Chief Creative Director Martin Cooper’s debut menswear collection for the storied British house. From militant great coats and slick leather pants to quilted hunting jackets and cozy knits — all in a suitably wintery palette of black, greys, deep greens and cool browns — it reads like a checklist of must-haves (those boots!). It’s safe to say that Cooper set the bar very, very high for himself.

We’re absolutely in love with Fall’s deep, dark lips. Gucci’s glossy black cherry-colored pout and natural complexion is one of the season’s standout looks.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN | Dandyism, darkness, precision cutting, formal waistcoats, floral embroideries, breeches….it could only be Alexander McQueen. In her latest collection for the house, Sarah Burton went for broke. The result? A sensual blend of refined masculinity and flamboyantly over-the-top glamour worthy of of a latter-day Brummel. It’s most certainly not for the shy or retiring type, but for those to whom dressing is a competitive sport, it simply doesn’t get much better.
